I loved it but am a little confused about parentage are these kids genetically Xanders meaning is he the father, mother contribution to the child or if cloning involved genetic copies with augmentation and if it was not cloning who were the other DNA contributers to these children or if cloning was involved what did they augment or adjust to get females if not clones who were the another genetic contributior to these children???
Merlin gave legal custdy to the Twins is that because it was safer as both the Twins and grandparents would have killed him otherwise or because he thought them the best of genetic choices

Author's Response: Actually, the kids are the twin's little siblings. They all share at least one parent, though a few may have another parent. The lab wasn't required to only use their parents, they had a few other samples from other notable spies in there. That's why the twins have the kids call them big brother. Merlin gave them the kids because he knew he couldn't call up the parents and go 'congrats they made you more' and the twins were willing to take over custody to save them. The only better one to raise them to be little hellions who could someday follow their parents would be the original parents, who would've killed Merlin.
